Thank you so much to Friendly faces disability support group they have been incredible so far with allowing me to have a safe space to talk about my child’s issues and signpost me to relevant resources. Since I’ve been going to groups I’ve been empowered and I’ve finally seen some progress for my daughter. They are a lovely group and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Mum of 7
Can't recommend Friendly Faces Disability Support CIC enough. They are a small but rapidly expanding group helping parents and children with SENDs. Nothing is too much trouble to help people in need, be it advice or more practical help. They are also more than willing to cooperate with other groups if they can. It's local people addressing local problems and they deserve all the help and encouragement they can get. Grandparent and wife
We had an amazing day at the winter Wonderland at the NEC with Friendly Faces, financially I wasn't going to be able to do a 'Christmas event' this year, so to be able to get discounted tickets meant we could, the sensory day was brilliant for my daughter who gets panicked in busy places.
I was absolutely blown away when I was told we would be receiving Christmas gifts, but to the get bags full of stuff for both myself, my girls & hubby was just so kind & thoughtfully.
The support that the team offer is something you just don't get from anywhere else, for me - these ladies are real moms, who have been through the same things as I'm experiencing now - who can advise on a personal level, that I can understand, sometimes it's just nice to know your not on your own, your not going crazy, but most of all, there is support and friendly faces you can talk to.
